When I look back on my journey, it feels like a lifetime compressed into a few short years. In 2018, I arrived in Canada with nothing but dreams and a determination to build a better future for my family. The early days were challenging and humbling. There were moments of profound struggle, times when tears fell silently in the privacy of my own space. I didn’t share these moments with anyone; I kept my struggles to myself, not wanting to burden others. With no place to call home, no relatives or friends nearby, and a young family relying on me, the weight of responsibility was immense. Despite my qualifications and years of experience, finding a job was a daunting task. Rejection after rejection, I knew that the road ahead was going to be tough. Yet, even in the face of adversity, I didn’t ask for help. I pressed on, working as a cashier to earn some income and gain Canadian experience. For seven long months, I volunteered without pay, driven by the hope of a better future. Balancing three jobs while attending college, studying tirelessly, and supporting my wife and young son was a relentless challenge. Every day was a test of endurance and determination. We rented a modest apartment, starting from scratch in a new culture with no immediate support system. Through it all, my wife’s unwavering support was my anchor. She stood by me through every hardship, her belief in our future never faltering. Her strength and patience were the pillars that held us up when the world seemed to weigh us down. Today, as the Founder and Partner of AI Tax Consultants Inc., I look back on those years with a deep sense of accomplishment and gratitude. My journey has been one of resilience, perseverance, and unyielding hope. It’s a reminder that no matter how difficult the path, dedication and support can turn dreams into reality.
