Job Overview: AI Tax Consultants is looking for a dynamic Sales Representative to join us on a 4-month hybrid contract. As a contractor on our team, you’ll identify new business opportunities, manage relationships, and meet sales targets. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation: Network, cold call, and find new clients through referrals and strategic outreach.
- Presentations: Showcase our services with impactful demonstrations to win clients.
- Client Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to drive long-term success.
- Sales Goals: Meet or exceed monthly targets.
- Market Insight: Stay on top of industry trends and competitors to spot new opportunities.
- Sales Reporting: Provide regular updates and forecasts on your sales pipeline.
- Team Collaboration: Work with marketing and sales teams to seamlessly execute strategies.
Requirements:
- Experience: 1+ years in sales or a related field, with a proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales goals.
- Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Languages: Proficiency in English required; French is a plus.
- Attributes: Self-motivated, goal-driven, and a team player.
Role Type: Contractor (4-month contract)
Hourly Wage: $14 CAD + Commission
Weekly Hours: 20 hours per week
Commission Structure: As a contractor with AI Tax Consultants, you’ll have the opportunity to earn commissions for bringing in new clients, whether corporate or individual. As a Sales Representative, you’ll earn a 10% commission on all business you bring in.
Example Earning: $1,000 in business = $100 commission

Receptionist

Job Overview: We are seeking a professional, part-time Receptionist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate is friendly, organized, and eager to contribute to a positive client experience. As the first point of contact, you’ll be responsible for managing front-desk operations and supporting administrative tasks, helping ensure seamless daily operations in our Ottawa office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Interaction: Greet and welcome clients and visitors with a warm, professional attitude, and assist with their inquiries.
- Communication Management: Answer and direct calls and emails efficiently, providing accurate information about our services.
- Appointment Scheduling: Manage appointment calendars and conference room bookings to ensure smooth scheduling.
- Administrative Support: Handle data entry, mail distribution, and document management, maintaining a tidy and organized reception area.
Requirements:
- Experience: 1-2 years as a receptionist or in a similar role, preferably within the financial or consulting sectors.
- Languages: Proficiency in both English and French; additional language skills are an asset.
- Skills: Strong organizational abilities, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Sales Representative (Commission-Based, Part-Time, Remote)

Job Overview: We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team. This is a part-time, remote position based in Ottawa, with a commission-based compensation structure. As a Sales Representative, you will play a crucial role in expanding our client base by bringing in new clients, both corporate and individual.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to generate leads and convert them into clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their tax consultancy needs and provide appropriate solutions.
- Conduct cold calling and telephonic sales to generate leads.
- Meet clients in person if required to discuss their needs and secure agreements.
- Achieve sales targets and earn commissions based on the General Service Agreement Amount by clients, as per company policy.
- Ensure that new clients sign an agreement with AI Tax Consultants before being eligible for commission.
- Work in compliance with company policies and Ontario laws and regulations.
Requirements:
- Based in Ottawa with the ability to work remotely.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in French is a plus.
- Strong sales and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in cold calling and telephonic sales.
- Ability to meet clients in person if required.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Previous experience in sales, particularly in the financial or consultancy sectors, is preferred.
- Familiarity with compliance and laws of Ontario.
Compensation: This is a commission-based position. You will earn a commission for successfully bringing in new clients once they have signed an agreement with AI Tax Consultants. The commission structure is based on the General Service Agreement Amount as per company policy.
