AI Tax Consultants is seeking a professional and detail-oriented Receptionist & Bookkeeper to join our team on a part-time basis. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, friendly, and experienced in both front-desk administration and bookkeeping.
As the first point of contact for clients and visitors, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming and professional environment while also supporting the financial and administrative operations of the office. Bookkeeping experience is mandatory for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
Reception and Administrative Duties
Greet and welcome clients and visitors in a warm, courteous, and professional manner
Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls and emails
Schedule appointments and manage calendars efficiently
Coordinate meeting room bookings and maintain the reception area
Handle mail distribution, filing, data entry, and general office administration
Bookkeeping Duties
Maintain accurate financial records and support daily bookkeeping activities
Record transactions, invoices, receipts, and payments
Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks
Reconcile financial records and ensure documentation is properly organized
Support the team with basic financial and administrative reporting as needed
Requirements:
Mandatory: Previous bookkeeping experience
1 years of experience as a receptionist or in a similar administrative role
Previous experience in a financial, tax, accounting, or consulting environment is strongly preferred
Fluency in English and French is required
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
Professional, reliable, detail-oriented, and client-focused
Role Type: Part-Time (Contractual Position)
Hourly Wage: $17.60/hour
Weekly Hours: 20 hours per week
